We're back with a massive update, packed with new realms to explore, new faces to meet, and some of the most requested features to date. This one’s a big one, so let’s get right into it!
The Big Stuff
- Lupina's Realm is Here! We’re thrilled to introduce our favorite she-wolf, Lupina Capitolina, and her loyal assistant, Bella! Other than all the new lore regarding everyone involved, this update opens the path to a new realm, the Capitoline Hill, which currently features a new boss fight against Lupina herself (currently easier version to account for the player only having one boon). Of course, though, this is just the beginning, with much more to come for her realm, including some awesome mobs and Bella's boss battle. And for our Patrons, a new H-Scene with Lupina is now available!
- Localizations are live! The game is now fully playable in Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, German, and French. Well, don't be too mad if something's off, though, we're just getting started. We appreciate any feedback on localizations on our socials and especially so on our Discord server!
- New game modes! You asked for the game to be easier… and also harder. So, naturally, we did both! Three new game modes have been added: Classic, No Insurance, and “For the Experience”. We’ll let you discover what each one entails.
- Huge Optimization Pass! A ton of work has been put under the hood. The game should now both look and run significantly better across all platforms!
New Features & QoL Changes
- You can now choose your path in the dream realm! After waking up, you’ll be able to decide which location to tackle next. This also resolves the infamous softlock for those of you skilled (or lucky) enough to defeat Fin on your first run; you can now simply choose to visit the Underwater Temple and lose on purpose now.
- The new fan-voted customization item, the Shrimpubus outfit, is now available in the Amazing Store!
- The Boon System UI has been completely reworked for better clarity. You can now see the precise effects of your boons and meta upgrades, no more guesswork!
- Added Skip and Hide Text buttons to the visual novel engine.
- A couple of new boons have been added to the pool to shake up your runs.
- You can now find goodies by smashing destructible vases. They’re there. Go break them.
Freebies
- The scene triggered by losing to Shrimpie is now available for FREE!
As always, this update includes tons upon tons of smaller fixes, tweaks, and additions that are too numerous to list individually.

The teasers well you could just update two versions, this takes it a step further to show scenes you can't get and let's you reach and hear it, just not see it.
In a way I am glad, but also sad that I can't potentially support this should I get hooked on it. I don't use patreon and even Paypal starts to sound like they kill your account for buying what you want.
Anyway if this get's to be even more than it is right now it starts to seem better than I imaged at first. I usually don't play games with that style I suppose but it seems okay, I just don't like the german currently.
Can't tell if I find these texts to weird in my language I had the same reaction with Persona or if it's not super correct. Hey I can read english.

As said in the update text, this used to be a softlock, but now when starting a run you can switch which version you face on the left!

I just have a small question about save locations. Save transfer went great, but I ended up starting a new game to see the full intro scene for the new boss (Bella is adorable, and so is the protag's open crushing on her by the way, props to the writer!), but now the import function won't work. I've tested it several times, but the saved game doesn't actually change. Even when deleting some files I found in the app date, deleting the unzipped files, and redownloading the archive to unzip it again, there is still a save game.
I'm thinking that finding where the saves are would let me delete them, and that it could unblock whatever is going on with Import, since that worked okay on first launching the new version!
Could you point me to the files, or do you perhaps have another idea?

Hey there! Thanks, I'm glad you liked the writing!
Sorry, I guess we forgot to put it in the patchnote, but we've already made it so that if the game loads the saves made in previous versions, it automatically resets your progress on the last scene (the one that was the last one in the previous updates) so that you could view the new, updated and expanded version that actually introduced the new characters without losing any of your other progress. If the issue you're experiencing is loading the save and it still thinks you haven't beaten Fin, that's what it is.
If that's not what you were referring to and there's some actual jam up with your save, I would recommend opening the 0.2.3 version and using the import feature there. When you go back to 0.2.4, it should pick it up automatically.
If you still want to nuke your progress (and, I mean, people can have their reasons, right?), it's in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\Tiger Roll Games\The After Hours Office Predators
Maybe the 0.2.3 save did port over and I didn't notice, but I can say for sure the scene rollback didn't happen. I got to challenge the new boss right away, and critically didn't get the filled out cutscene with Bella until I reset my progress, believing the text string I'd grabbed and stashed in a notepad doc would keep my upgrades and cash safe.
But now when I try and import, it says the data is incomplete or corrupted, no matter the version.
So it is likely I didn't use the export/import correctly the first time, and that my save just ported over while the text export was cut off either at copying or from pasting it in a single notepad line.
As for deleting the roaming file, I can also attest that I still had the option to continue even after deleting the two Player files there, so I don't think that's save date, though maybe they store scene progress?
As it stands my 21 day save is gone, so I'll be looking into a save editor to get our overworked MC a cash bonus and get around to completing the gallery once more...probably in a little bit, losing saves leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Also, I've attached the save data, so you can check what is wrong with it if you want.

Yeah, comparing the progress I remember having unlocks and upgrades-wise, it's obvious I cut off the larger part of it somehow!
I wasn't able to reproduce how that happened with the notepad program I used. The game reimported the save just fine. If I could make one suggestion, I've seen other games using text string exports with a copy to clipboard option. My case shouldn't be common, but it could come in handy, if it's not too much of a bother to fit in, alongside a confirmation message like when importing a save?
